Water Heater Malfunction in Glendale Colorado

The water heater in this room had sprung a leak and flooded the room and the hallway. Extracting the water proved difficult as there were many items inside the room. However, with a little bit of shuffling we were able to get all the water out.

The next step is the drying process. Extraction can take the bulk of the water out but evaporation is needed for the rest. The air movers are exactly what's needed to speed up the evaporation process. As long as there is rapid air movement and evaporation no mold will be able to grow.

Within just a few days SERVPRO of Denver East & Southwest was already packing up all their equipment. The room was dry and the owners were happy with the quick mitigation.
